Vehicle Operation:Driving Class 4 vehicles (which include lorries and other large vehicles, depending on the region's licensing) to designated locations.
Logistics & Delivery:Transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring safe and timely delivery within scheduled timelines.
Cargo Handling:Loading and unloading cargo, sometimes single-handedly, and ensuring it is handled properly.
Vehicle Maintenance:Performing routine checks on the vehicle, ensuring it's clean, refueled, and properly maintained.
Customer Service:In some roles, this may include collecting payments and issuing receipts for deliveries.
Route Management:Planning and following efficient routes to optimize travel time, often using GPS systems.
Compliance:Adhering strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
General Duties:Performing other general tasks as assigned by the employer, which can include operating other machinery like forklifts.
