As part of its continued expansion strategy in Asia, the organisation is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Chief Executive Officer (Asia) to lead its next phase of growth.

🚀 Role Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (Asia) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving business growth, and overseeing overall operational performance across regional markets.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, operational capability, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, sales, and compliance functions.

You will report directly to the Board of Directors and play a key role in shaping the organisation’s regional direction and long-term success.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

🔷 Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the company’s Asia regional strategy in alignment with global direction
• Drive annual business planning, budgeting, and performance tracking
• Identify new market opportunities and develop regional expansion initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial partners and stakeholders

🔷 Business & Commercial Growth

• Lead regional sales strategy to achieve sustainable revenue growth
• Strengthen customer relationships and expand key accounts across Asia
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
• Drive new business development and channel expansion initiatives

🔷 Operational & Manufacturing Oversight

• Oversee daily business operations including production, supply chain, and service delivery
• Ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and productivity improvement
• Support manufacturing and technical teams in achieving operational excellence

🔷 Compliance & Governance

• Ensure full compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BizSAFE, etc.)
• Approve and oversee implementation of Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
• Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and workplace regulations across all operations
• Maintain internal approval authority standards and governance discipline

• Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and regional teams
• Foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values and ethics
• Oversee organisational structure, talent development, and succession planning
• Drive engagement, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration

📌 Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering / Sales & Marketing / Business or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing and general management roles
• At least 5 years of regional sales / business development exposure (Asia markets)
• Strong background in industrial manufacturing, chemicals, or technical products preferred
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and P&L ownership roles
• Familiar with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / BizSAFE standards (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership capability, and decision-making ability
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to operate in a lean organisation
• Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management ability
