Responsibilities:

• Perform daily batch processes in accordance to SOP and comply strictly to safety, quality and environmental guidelines.
• Perform equipment line-ups and operate reactors in accordance to established practices and procedures.
• Charge chemicals into reactor manually.
• Carry out drumming operations as and when required.
• Report all process/equipment/environmental abnormalities, incidents and/or near misses to Shift Superintendent/Engineer/Production Manager. Take part in further investigation when required.
• Adhere to Company and departmental procedures, SHEQ rules and regulations, and GMP at all times.
• Carry out scheduled housekeeping activities.
• Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift changes.
• Participate as CERT member.

Requirements:

• ITE Certificate/ Diploma in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
• Relevant working experience in chemical industries.
• On-the-job raining will be provided for entry level.
• An effective team player with good communication skills.
• Must be able to work on 12-hours rotating shift in Jurong Island.
• Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
