Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient food production aligned with restaurant standards
• Supervise and mentor Kitchen Assistants to enhance team performance and maintain high-quality food preparation
• Enforce food preparation and cooking standards to deliver consistent and authentic cuisine
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and kitchen safety standards to comply with health regulations and ensure a safe working environment
• Assist in stock ordering and inventory management to optimize kitchen resources and reduce waste
• Collaborate with management to coordinate kitchen workflow and operational planning for peak efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

• Experience working in a professional kitchen environment
• Ability to independently manage kitchen operations with accountability and organization

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising and guiding kitchen teams
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
