About Us
Brahm Centre is a registered mental health charity dedicated to promoting
happier and healthier living through holistic programs. We empower indivduals
to create their own happiness. We are a full member of the National Council of
Social Services (NCSS) and an Institution of Public Character (IPC).
We offer science-based mindfulness programs to enhance mental well-being.
We have a care management team supported by trained volunteers. Working with the Agency for Integrated Care, the Ministry of Health and healthcare and educational institutions, we support the community through health education, case management, counselling services and outreach. We offer wellness programs and art courses designed to enhance overall well-being.
Role Overview
The Centre Manager oversees the daily operations and development of Brahm Centre’s Active Ageing Centre (AAC). The role ensures the fulfilment of AAC and CREST non-clinical KPIs, builds community engagement, and strengthens awareness of the centre’s programmes and services. The Centre Manager also works closely with internal teams and community partners to deliver meaningful outreach and wellbeing initiatives for seniors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Active Ageing Centres (AAC) to meet AAC programme KPIs.
- Oversee the delivery of Community Resource, Engagement, and Support Team (CREST) non-clinical services and ensure targets are met.
- Ensure smooth implementation of programmes, activities and outreach initiatives.
- Conceptualise, plan and host outreach events, including collaborations with companies when required.
- Increase community awareness of Brahm Centre’s services.
- Drive participation and engagement among seniors within the centre’s service boundary.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, grassroots organisations and stakeholders.
- Supervise and support staff, volunteers and project teams involved in AAC operations.
- Monitor service quality, maintain proper records and ensure compliance with programme guidelines.
- Perform any other duties assigned to support centre operations and organisational goals.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Psychology or related fields.
- Experience in community engagement, centre management or senior-facing programmes.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple programmes concurrently.
- Comfortable hosting outreach events and engaging with the public.
- Passionate about improving the wellbeing of seniors in the community.
