Chess at Three is a venture-backed early education company from New York, now rapidly expanding in Singapore. We deliver two award-winning, story-based learning programs for kids aged 3 years to 12 years:
- Chess at Three – teaches chess to children as young as three through storytelling and play
- Birchguard Quest – a fantasy roleplaying game for ages 6–12 that builds collaboration, confidence, and communication

About the Role
We’re seeking a Centre Executive/ Manager (Sales & Operations) to lead enrolment, parent engagement, and sales operations across our Singapore locations. You’ll manage the day to day sales and operations of individual centres, shape the customer journey, and help families connect with meaningful enrichment experiences for their children. We have centres at:
- Bukit Timah Plaza
- United Square
- Katong V
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Sales & Operations Centre Executive/ Manager to drive student enrolments and support the smooth daily operations of our chess enrichment centre. This role is the first point of contact for parents and plays a key part in delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales: Explain programmes clearly and follow up with prospects and trial students - handling both online and in-person enquiries
- Lead conversion: Follow up closely with individual leads and convert leads into trial classes and enrolments
- Day to day Operations: Manage daily centre operations including replacement staffing, any incidents that may arise
- Event management: Manage and prepare for any promotional events, tournaments, parties
- Customer service & student retention: Provide excellent, warm & prompt customer service and support student retention
- Project Ownership: Take charge of ad-hoc tasks and strategic initiatives that support business growth and brand excellence
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of working experience, including:
1+ year working with children
2+ years in educational centre operations (ideally including planning function) - Sales-oriented, results-driven, and people-focused
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and with empathy
- Love working with families and want to make a difference in early childhood learning
- Experience in sales, customer service, or centre operations (education industry experience a plus)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, parent-facing environment
- Chess knowledge or interest considered a plus
Working Schedule
- 5-day work week, including weekends (off days on weekdays)
- 9-6.30pm, with lunch break
