Key Responsibilities

1. Transport & Vehicle Management
• Carry out all driving assignments, including the transport of new admissions from Singapore Prison Service (SPS).
• Ensure both centre vehicles are always well-maintained, including:
o Maintaining sufficient fuel levels (minimum half tank).
o Ensuring adequate balance in cash cards (minimum $50).
o Coordinating regular servicing, upkeep, and cleanliness of vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with all transport and safety requirements.
2. Resident Care, Welfare & Operations
• Manage residents’ daily operational matters, including:
o Cash management
o Bed, seating, and kitchen locker allocations
• Plan and manage residents’ weekly duty rosters.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure residents are present in their respective duties and activities.
• Ensure premises are clean, safe, and orderly always.
• Escort residents for:
o Errands and essential purchases
o Medical appointments when required
• Support the coordination of volunteers and visitors.
• Supervise residents’ conduct and enforce centre rules and discipline appropriately.
• Work with the casework team to provide aftercare support for residents when required.
3. Administrative & General Support
• Prepare and fax medical memoranda to Prison when required.
• Take photographs during events and maintain a photo gallery for publicity and newsletters.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
