Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Car Technician to join our team in Singapore. As a Car Technician at BYD, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of electric vehicles. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and ensure they meet safety standards.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately pinpoint vehicle malfunctions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot complex problems and implement effective solutions.
• Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in training as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Car Technician or similar role, preferably with electric vehicles.
• Certification from a technical or vocational school in automotive service or a related field.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures.
• Effective communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
