Job Description

We’re looking for a Business Development Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong commercial mindset to drive growth for our publications and services.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Business Development team, you will:

  • Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategic business plans

  • Manage end-to-end marketing and distribution across retail, schools, institutions, government agencies, and e-commerce platforms

  • Plan and execute advertising campaigns, events, exhibitions, and roadshows—from logistics and manpower planning to post-event evaluation

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams

  • Present compelling product value propositions, handle objections, negotiate terms, and close deals

  • Lead order planning, forecast print quantities, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction

  • Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions, including quotations, follow-ups, and issue resolution

  • Provide consistent after-sales support and manage client feedback

  • Analyse sales performance, generate reports, and conduct market research to uncover growth opportunities

  • Conduct business reviews, sales meetings, and presentations to drive adoption and brand visibility

  • Collaborate closely with Editorial, Production, Sales Admin, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution

  • Support pricing reviews, payment follow-ups, and project implementation

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline

  • At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales or business development environment

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong understanding of the publishing industry, including market trends, distribution channels, and emerging technologies
