  Job Description

  We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in the Credit Card domain, specifically in Card Scheme compliance, to support regulatory and scheme-driven initiatives within a leading banking environment. The role involves close collaboration with Business, Operations, Fraud, and Technology teams to ensure accurate interpretation, documentation, and delivery of Card Scheme mandates across systems and processes.

  The successful candidate will play a key role in requirements analysis, governance, stakeholder management, and delivery tracking, ensuring timely and compliant execution of Card Scheme releases.

  This is a 12-month contract role, suited for a highly experienced Business Analyst operating at L4 level (10+ years) with proven end-to-end ownership of compliance initiatives in the cards space.

  Key Responsibilities

  Requirements Analysis & Documentation

  • Analyze and define functional and non-functional requirements aligned with Card Scheme compliance bulletins and regulatory mandates.

  • Translate high-level business and compliance requirements into clear, detailed documentation within the bank’s technology and operational context.

  • Develop and maintain As-Is and To-Be process flows covering business and operational changes.

  • Build and manage Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) mapping Card Scheme mandates to business and technology requirements.

  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of requirements across systems, processes, and markets.

  Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

  • Collaborate closely with Business, Product, Operations, Fraud, and Technology teams to validate and finalize requirements.

  • Participate in and lead cross-functional workshops and regular cadence meetings to communicate requirements and assess delivery impacts.

  • Lead Functional Specification (FS) reviews and sign-off sessions with relevant stakeholders across markets.

  • Track and manage Card Scheme compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with delivery timelines and governance standards.

  • Monitor and support quarterly Card Scheme compliance releases in line with the organization’s SDLC / QR SDM processes.

  Requirements

  Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

  Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Banking and Financial Services.

  • Strong hands-on experience in Credit Card systems and Card Scheme compliance.

  Essential Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of Card Scheme compliance bulletins, mandates, and operational impacts.

  • Strong capability to translate complex compliance requirements into actionable business and technology specifications.

  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Proven experience working across Business, Operations, Fraud, and Technology teams.

  • Strong governance mindset with experience managing compliance-driven deliveries.
