• MRT Project

Our client, a well-established M&E engineering contractor with an excellent track record and low staff turnover, is expanding its team to support a newly awarded MRT project. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who enjoy managing complex Building Management System (BMS) projects and working alongside multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of BMS/BAS works from engineering coordination through commissioning and handover.

• Review technical drawings, control schematics, specifications, points schedules and technical submissions.

• Coordinate closely with consultants, clients, contractors, vendors and internal project stakeholders.

• Drive discussions relating to BMS architecture, control strategies, system interfaces and integration requirements.

• Ensure smooth integration between BMS and building services systems including ACMV, Fire Protection Systems, electrical and other ELV systems.

• Monitor project schedules, site progress, manpower deployment and material planning.

• Supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.

• Resolve technical and coordination issues throughout project execution.

• Oversee testing and commissioning activities, system integration testing and client demonstrations.

• Support documentation, variation works, procurement planning and project reporting.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and project team members.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related disciplines.

• Minimum 6 years' experience in BMS/BAS or controls systems, with supervisory or managerial exposure.

• Hands-on experience managing BMS projects within Singapore's construction or M&E environment.

• Strong understanding of:

  • BMS architecture and control logic

  • DDC panels, sensors and field devices

  • System integration and interface coordination

  • ACMV controls and operational requirements

• Familiarity with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks or KNX.

• Proven experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing projects under tight timelines.

• Strong technical troubleshooting, leadership and communication skills.
