Job Summary

As the BIM Manager at Addcel Engineering, you will be the strategic lead for our digital delivery. You will bridge the gap between complex 3D design and on-site execution, ensuring our projects are coordinated, compliant, and cost-effective. You aren't just managing models; you are driving the digital future of our construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and internal standards to ensure consistent digital delivery across all project phases
• Lead inter-disciplinary clash detection workshops to identify and resolve design conflicts proactively before construction, reducing rework and delays
• Generate and oversee the production of 2D shop drawings for submissions and approvals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements
• Allocate and manage BIM Engineers across multiple projects to deliver timely, high-quality digital models and documentation
• Translate complex technical BIM data into actionable site solutions to support on-site teams and improve construction efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement in BIM processes to enhance coordination, compliance, and cost-effectiveness in project delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Revit (MEP), Navisworks, and Plant3D to manage and coordinate BIM models effectively
• Strong understanding of Singapore’s BIM/IDD standards and local codes requirements to ensure regulatory compliance
• Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering to provide foundational technical expertise for BIM management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 10+ years of BIM management experience within the Industrial Plant Construction industry, specifically for MEP systems, to lead complex projects confidently
• Experience in the Semi-con industry, adding valuable sector-specific knowledge to enhance project outcomes
• Proactive problem-solving mindset to translate technical data into practical, site-ready solutions
