Role Overview

Bid & Tender Manager with strong experience in the pre-contract and tendering phase of piling and foundation works. This role leads the preparation, coordination, and submission of technically accurate and commercially competitive bids across public and private sector projects.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in foundation and geotechnical projects, with experience in coordination and managing tenders.

Candidates with prior experience managing project teams will be considered for a senior leadership role such as Department Head or General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end tender process for piling and ground engineering projects — from tender invitation to submission
• Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, geotechnical reports, and BOQs
• Work closely with estimators, QSs, design engineers, and project teams to develop complete and compliant tender packages
• Liaise with clients for pre-bid meetings, technical clarifications, and site visits
• Ensure all technical and commercial components of each bid are prepared and submitted accurately and on time
• Maintain and update a library of project references, method statements, HSE documents, and submission templates
• Track ongoing tenders and maintain bid status reports for management

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering for piling/foundation works.
• Familiar with bored piling, secant piles, diaphragm walls, and other geotechnical systems.
• Proficient in tender software, and technical document preparation.
