Varel Singapore is seeking a passionate, energetic, and service-oriented Bellboy to deliver exceptional arrival and departure experiences for our guests. This highly guest-facing role is essential in creating memorable first and last impressions through warm hospitality, efficient luggage handling, and attentive service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, transportation arrangements, and escorting guests to their rooms.
• Support smooth guest arrivals and departures by coordinating transportation services, including taxis, private hire vehicles, and limousine providers.
• Provide prompt assistance with guest requests, directions, hotel facilities, and recommendations on nearby attractions, restaurants, and landmarks.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence at the hotel entrance, lobby, and driveway to ensure smooth traffic flow and guest safety.
• Assist Front Office operations during check-in and check-out periods when required.
• Handle guest belongings carefully and ensure luggage is delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Anticipate guest needs proactively and provide thoughtful, personalized service that exceeds expectations.
• Monitor the lobby and entrance areas, reporting any unusual activities or guest concerns to management or security personnel.
• Work closely with Front Office, Concierge, Security, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Uphold Varel Singapore and Marriott brand standards through professional grooming, behavior, and guest interactions.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience in hospitality, guest services, or hotel operations is an advantage.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of English and confidence in interacting with international guests.
• Familiarity with Singapore streets, landmarks, attractions, and dining options is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to handle luggage assistance duties.
• Service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to assist guests at all times.
• Able to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Professional appearance and strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.
