Automotive Workshop - Head Mechanic

Location: Jurong, Singapore

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Automotive Head Mechanic to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate on leading a team of mechanics, vehicle maintenance, repair and have solid hands-on experience with leadership qualities, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Supervision: Managing and mentoring a team of mechanics, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and conducting performance evaluations.

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Developing and implementing maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime.

Diagnostic & Repair Oversight: Supervising complex diagnostics and repairs of automotive systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Inventory & Resource Management: Overseeing the procurement and management of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.

Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inventory usage.

Training & Development: Providing ongoing training to mechanics to enhance skills and knowledge.

Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant automotive repair experience

Requirements:

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing, electrical, and hydraulic systems of vehicles.

Strong ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and resolve conflicts.

Adept at identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records.

Relevant certifications in mechanical or automotive engineering are often preferred.
