We are seeking an organized and resourceful Associate Executive to join our team for a pivotal study assessing the impact of structured arts programs on seniors’ health and well-being. This role involves coordinating research operations, ensuring seamless execution of study activities, and providing technical and administrative support. The findings of this study will influence future health and social care strategies for the ageing population.


Key Responsibilities


Research Coordination and Support

  • Schedule and coordinate research activities, including participant recruitment, program sessions, and data collection.
  • Monitor project progress against timelines and milestones, reporting updates to the PI and research team.
  • Assist in administering surveys, questionnaires, and other data collection tools during program sessions.
  • Administer and troubleshoot survey platforms, data entry systems, and other research-related software.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date study documentation, including participant consent forms and session records.
  • Support the team in compiling findings for presentations, reports, and publications.

Logistical Management

  • Ensure logistical readiness, such as venue setup, materials preparation, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and organize materials for periodic audits and progress reports.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with study stakeholders, including participants, facilitators, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, addressing their inquiries and providing support as needed.
  • Support the research team in hosting community events and dissemination activities.

Compliance and Ethics

  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, institutional review board (IRB) protocols, and data privacy regulations.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma in Health Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience in project coordination or research, particularly in community health or ageing-related studies will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with data collection methods and research tools (e.g., survey platforms, Excel, or SPSS) will be an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data management systems.
  • Technical aptitude for operating and maintaining research-related equipment and software.
