Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
You will act as a team member or team lead, responsible for end-to-end as-is/to-be data mapping and migration activities (operations-side) within a DWH renewal program, and for driving cross-functional coordination across business, IT, vendors, and Japan Head Office stakeholders.
Project Planning & Management
• Develop and manage the end-to-end plan for as-is/to-be data mapping and migration activities within the DWH renewal / Downstream systems project (operations-side).
• Define the scope, approach, and workflow for mapping activities based on system specifications, data definitions, target architecture, and business requirements.
• Drive milestones, dependencies, and resource planning; monitor progress and provide regular status reporting.
Stakeholder Coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact among business users, IT teams, vendors, and Japan Head Office stakeholders to align requirements, resolve issues, and report status.
• Lead requirement clarification sessions, support impact analysis, and ensure decisions and assumptions are documented and agreed.
Business Requirements & Data Mapping Coordination
• Lead and facilitate the collection, structuring, and consolidation of mapping-related inputs and requirements from business users and IT specialists.
• Analyse gaps and differences between current and target states; drive consensus-building and requirement alignment.
• Provide guidance to senior team members and review/validate key deliverables to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Documentation & Quality Control
• Create, review, and maintain data mapping documents and other related project materials in line with project standards and auditability requirements.
Risk & Issue Management
• Identify project risks, issues, and impacts; propose mitigation actions, solutions, and contingency plans.
What You Should Have
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and downstream data flows.
• Hands-on experience with Global and/or Regional Data Warehouse platforms and downstream consumer systems.
• Experience in system implementation in bank.
• Experience participating in requirements definition and testing/validation phases for DWH renewal or migration projects.
• Business-level Japanese (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with Japan Head Office stakeholders.
