About the Role

Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) projects for mission-critical facilities such as data centres, healthcare, commercial, and industrial clients. The role requires strong project leadership, technical knowledge in power systems, and the ability to coordinate stakeholders to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project lifecycle of UPS installations, upgrades, and replacements.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with design consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure compliance with specifications and performance requirements.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of UPS systems and related electrical infrastructure (LV/MV switchgear, batteries, power distribution units).
• Ensure strict compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards and industry regulations.
• Monitor project risks, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and financial tracking to senior management and clients.
• Manage variation orders, claims, and contractual matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience in UPS or critical power projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems (static/rotary), batteries, switchgear, and backup power integration.
• Experience delivering projects for data centres, hospitals, industrial plants, or mission-critical facilities is highly advantageous.
