• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Work location - West Region, Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations of the Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories, ensuring smooth workflow, timely reporting, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.
• Supervise routine environmental testing, not limited to, for water, wastewater, soil, air, and surface samples using APHA, ISO, ASTM, and USEPA methods.
• Oversee chemical and microbiological analyses, media preparation, equipment operation, and QC checks.
• Review analytical results, QC data, and assist with troubleshooting of instruments and test deviations.
• Coordinate equipment calibration, maintenance, and method validation activities.
• Assist in staff supervision, training, competency assessment, and workload planning.
• Participate in audits, proficiency testing, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure laboratory safety, housekeeping, and compliance with biosafety and chemical management requirements.
• Provide basic technical support to clients and internal teams on test methods, results, and service requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and development of new laboratory capabilities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of working experience in an environmental or commercial testing laboratory (water or wastewater preferred).
• Familiar with ISO/IEC 17025, QA/QC practices, and laboratory operations.
• Experience with analytical instruments (e.g., ICP, GC/GC-MS, IC, TOC, titrators) and microbiological techniques.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
