Role Overview

The Community Manager plays a key role in shaping the member experience within the coworking space. This position focuses on creating a welcoming environment, building meaningful connections among members, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the centre. The ideal candidate combines hospitality, relationship management, and operational coordination to foster a vibrant and professional community.

Key Responsibilities

Community & Member Experience
Serve as the primary point of contact for members and visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
Build strong relationships with members and understand their business needs.
Foster a positive community culture through regular engagement and support.
Facilitate introductions and connections among members to encourage collaboration.

Community Events & Engagement
Plan and organise regular community activities, networking sessions, and member engagement events.
Coordinate monthly social gatherings such as bakery sessions, snack breaks, and fruit sessions to enhance member interaction.
Support business-related events including talks, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Operations & Facility Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the coworking centre.
Ensure meeting rooms, common areas, and facilities are well-maintained and ready for use.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for maintenance, IT support, and housekeeping.
Manage meeting room bookings and space utilisation.

Member Onboarding & Retention
Assist with onboarding new members and ensure a smooth move-in process.
Provide support to members throughout their membership journey.
Address member feedback promptly and proactively improve the member experience.

Sales & Business Support
Support the sales team with centre tours and potential member inquiries.
Maintain accurate member records and assist with membership administration.
Identify opportunities to enhance services and increase member satisfaction.

Requirements
2–5 years of experience in coworking, hospitality, events, customer service, or community management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to create a welcoming and engaging environment.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Comfortable coordinating events and interacting with diverse professionals.
Passion for community building and people engagement.

Preferred Skills
Experience in coworking spaces, hospitality, or serviced offices.
Event planning or community engagement experience.
Strong problem-solving and service mindset.
Familiarity with workspace booking systems or CRM tools.
