AI / Machine Learning Engineer (Agency Contract)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI / Machine Learning Engineer to support the development, implementation, and governance of artificial intelligence solutions for ongoing AI-driven projects. The role involves designing AI models, managing machine learning infrastructure, ensuring AI governance compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced analytics and AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models to support business and project objectives.

• Manage and maintain AI platforms, machine learning infrastructure, and data pipelines.

• Apply advanced analytics, deep learning, and machine learning techniques to extract insights and build intelligent solutions.

• Ensure adherence to AI governance frameworks, AI ethics standards, and cybersecurity best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and project stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.

• Lead and mentor technical team members involved in AI and data analytics initiatives.

• Monitor performance of deployed AI models and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and governance standards, especially in government or regulated environments.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations related to AI solutions and project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Advanced Analytics.

• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, AI ethics principles, and cybersecurity practices.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in AI development, data analytics, or related technical roles with significant AI involvement.

• Proven experience managing AI platforms, machine learning infrastructure, and AI project delivery.

• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams working on AI and advanced analytics projects.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or similar AI/ML tools.
