Analyst Programmer / Technical Business Analyst (AIDelivery) [Contract]

A leading global financial services organisation is hiring an AnalystProgrammer / Technical Business Analyst as part of a transformation toward aproduct-led, AI-assisted delivery model.

The role sits within a cross-functional delivery squadworking closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, developers, QA teams, andregional stakeholders across APAC. The successful candidate will bridgebusiness requirements and technical implementation by translating requirementsinto structured functional and system specifications, supporting API andintegration analysis, and enabling efficient software delivery within an agileenvironment.

This role is suited for individuals who are comfortableoperating across both business analysis and systems analysis functions, withstrong exposure to SDLC processes, technical documentation, APIs, integrations,and AI-assisted delivery workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis & Technical Documentation

• Engage with business, product, and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, validate, and document business and system requirements
• Translate requirements into structured user stories, functional specifications, technical specifications, process flows, acceptance criteria, and implementation artefacts
• Produce technical and system documentation including:
• API interaction flows and specifications
• System integration diagrams
• Data flow mappings
• Process and workflow documentation
• Analyse system behaviour, integration dependencies, edge cases, and technical impacts across applications and platforms
• Support backlog refinement and prioritisation in collaboration with Product Owners and delivery leads

SDLC & Delivery Support

• Work closely with developers and engineering teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible, clearly understood, and aligned to delivery objectives
• Support agile delivery activities including sprint planning, refinement sessions, UAT coordination, release validation, and defect tracking
• Assist in analysing and validating system enhancements, application changes, and integration updates during the software development lifecycle
• Coordinate with QA and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment outcomes

Change Governance &Release Coordination

• Prepare and maintain change governance documentation, including impact assessments, implementation schedules, rollback considerations, and approval artefacts
• Coordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB) submissions and support release governance processes within a regulated environment
• Maintain documentation standards, audit trails, and traceability across project and system changes

AI-Assisted Delivery &Continuous Improvement

• Utilise AI-assisted tools and productivity technologies to support documentation, requirement analysis, flow generation, test scenario creation, and delivery acceleration
• Review and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with business and technical requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across SDLC, BA practices, system analysis methodologies, and AI-enabled workflows

Job Requirements

Must-Have

• 3–6 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, Analyst Programmer, or similar technology delivery role
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methodologies
• Experience working with APIs, system integrations, and technical application flows
• Ability to analyse and document request/response structures, integration touchpoints, and system interactions
• Experience producing both business and technical documentation, including:
• Functional specifications
• Technical specifications
• Process flows
• System and integration diagrams
• Data flow documentation
• Experience supporting application delivery, release coordination, UAT, or change governance activities
• Comfortable working closely with software engineers, QA teams, architects, and product stakeholders in cross-functional environments
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
• Exposure to AI-assisted delivery tools, automation tools, or GenAI-enabled workflows

Nice-to-Have

• Experience within financial services, insurance, banking, fintech, or regulated environments
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Postman, Swagger, or similar collaboration and API platforms
• Exposure to AI-assisted software delivery or emerging AI-enabled SDLC methodologies
• Basic understanding of SQL, system querying, or application troubleshooting concepts
