GFM Operations - GFM Ops operates as a Regional Processing Centre (Hub & Spoke) supporting GFM businesses in the region. The hub and spoke model allow GFM business to scale up while remaining agile in product and service offerings in the fast, evolving market environment. As GFM business expands product offerings in the region coupled with the dynamic regulatory environment, GFM Ops leverages on this unique advantage to continue to standardize processes to manage processing risk and to facilitate automation as well as governance of service level and quality.

Responsibilities

• Affirm trade economics, drafting confirmations for non-Swift or non-electronically affirmed trades using appropriate ISDA templates, and monitoring electronic affirmation platforms.
• Validate and deliver paper trade confirmations through various channels, reconciling auto-generated confirmations, and diligently recording any delays in issuance.
• Follow up on disputed confirmations, securing email deliveries with passwords, and archiving outgoing confirmations.
• Check and affirm all incoming trade confirmations in risk systems, investigating and escalating discrepancies, tracking unreceived or unacknowledged confirmations, and reporting weekly on aged unaffirmed trades. 
• Engage with various internal stakeholders for aged unaffirmed confirmations and verifying signatures for corporate paper confirmations.
• Extract and match trade event executions from risk systems with trade sources to prepare notifications.  
• Generate passwords using the eDoc Password Module and investigating any password-related issues.
• Review and approve deviations in ISDA negotiation on-boarding related to trade confirmations, updating ISDA agreements in risk systems, facilitating ISDA on-boarding negotiations by providing live trade outstanding details to Legal, and engaging in supplementary Master Agreement negotiations with ISDA counterparts to ensure compliance with Swift confirmation issuance.
• Manage Board Resolutions (BR) related to trade terms, clarifying and tracing missing BRs with BMO Client Support, furnishing aged reports on missing/disputed BRs to clients and RMs/Sales, and archiving all BRs.
• Address queries from Spokes, investigating, and assisting them with issues related to trade confirmations, password issuance, and risk reporting.
• Review processes to manage the execution of new product launches or changes.
• Encouraging all clients to onboard to DBS Treasury eDoc.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree with at least 1-3 years' relevant experience
• Good knowledge of Treasury products is essential.
• A team player with good interpersonal relationship
• Good analysis and writing
• Familiar with GenAI development and analysing Big Data
• Meticulous and attentive to details
• Good communication skills
• Prior experience in covering Financial Institutions or large corporates is a plus
• Experience in documentation negotiation (e.g. ISDA/GMRA/GMSLA) is a plus
