Allkin is investing in an Innovation Squad - a dedicated, in-house team of specialists in technology, design, and product management to drive and develop solutions for high priority pain points in our client journey. This would allow us to strengthen innovative solutioning capabilities to achieve better client care outcomes and optimize organisational resource and performance management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an AI Product and Design Lead to pioneer the design and development of AI-enabled products and services in the social service sector. This role blends the responsibilities of a traditional Product Manager with deep expertise in AI product management and applied design thinking. We require a hands-on, self-starter who can guide a small technical team in building foundational data capabilities and effective AI solutions (eg. AI agent and GenAI).

Key Responsibilities

• AI Product Strategy Roadmap & Ownership
  • Own the AI product lifecycle from concept, discovery, and design.
  • Translate business objectives and user needs into AI-enabled product requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate AI use cases, feasibility, risks, and ethical considerations.
• Applied Design Thinking in AI User Experience
  • Design user-friendly AI experiences.
  • Ensure seamless integration between AI outputs and user workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and scalable.
• Cross-Functional Leadership and Guidance
  • Lead and guide a small cross-functional team of engineers on AI product design requirements, data dependencies, and system workflows.
  • Present AI capabilities to leadership and business teams.
  • Guide and equip staff with foundational skills in AI product management and design thinking through work engagements and facilitated workshops.

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Design, Innovation, Engineering, Business, Psychology, or related field(s) from a reputable university.
• 8 or more years of experience in digital product design and management, with at least 3 years in a leadership position and at least 2 years of hands-on experience working on AI product design and management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and guiding a team of engineers on digital product design and management, and data infrastructure development.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end digital product life cycle, design thinking and user-centric design methodologies.
• Strong UX/UI design skills with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts to guide the development of data infrastructure and translate user requirements into AI products.
• Highly adaptable and comfortable working in ambiguity and early-stage product environments.
