Job Description & Requirements

• Support new client and file opening process, ensuring KYC compliance and accurate data entry.
• Closing cases after verifying WIP, disbursements, and client/office accounts.
• Review and approve invoices, issuing credit notes and debit notes
• Handling write-offs according to SOP and approval hierarchy.
• Managing petty cash, reimbursements, and monthly reconciliation for client and office accounts.
• Preparing weekly and monthly report.
• Setting and updating hourly rates for lawyers and trainees and supporting billing adjustments.
• Handle ad hoc requests from management

Requirements:

• IT savvy (basic understanding of MS Outlook and an advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a Law or an Accounting Firm.
• Familiarity with finance regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Minimum educational qualification: Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field from a recognised institution.
