Job Description:

• Enforce EHS rules & regulations to prevent pollution and for safety and health workplace
• Develop, review and update EHS policies and related documents
• Conduct regular EHS inspections and safety inspections, recommend control measures , monitor and improve WSH performance
• Implement training programs to employees in EHS related matters consistent with the needs of their respective functions
• Enforce compliance of prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations and to ensure all facilities and equipments relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard
• Conduct monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
• Prepare and submit Site Environmental Control Programme to the occupier of the construction site before work commences on the worksite
• Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the occupier of the construction site accordingly

Job Requirements:

• At least 10 years relevant experience as WSHO in construction industry and at least 8 years experience involved with high rise building projects
• Registered WSH Officer with MOM
• Attended Risk Management Training
• Specilist Diploma or above, preferably Occupational Safety and/or environmental health or related fields
• Familiar with local regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of EHS
• Applicants must be familiar with CONSAAS Audit
