Job Title: Operator, Waste Material Handler

• Transport wastepaper and other recyclables generated from production lines and warehouse
• Ensure waste papers segregated according to waste classification required by waste paper vendor.
• Prepare and ensure sufficient empty waste bins in production and warehouse daily
• Consolidate and compile waste materials for vendors’ collection
• Load and unload wastepaper compacted bales from the baler room onto and off recycle bins
• Extract and load waste materials onto transportation vehicles
• Enter waste material movements in Smart Waste Monitoring system to track every aspect of waste and recycling product.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, hand pallet jacks and other equipment to transport waste materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks
• Dispose of waste materials in accordance to safety and legal requirements
• Maintain daily good housekeeping of Baler room
• Able to do basic troubleshooting of Baler equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in waste material handling activities
• Strong understanding of Health Safety and Environmental requirements for material handling
• Experience in operating material handling equipment such as Forklift, Reach Truck and Power Pallet Jack
• Familiar with the operation of Industrial Automatic Baler System
