Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, inventory control, shipping, and receiving activities. The role focuses on maintaining safety standards, optimizing warehouse processes, and leading warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales departments.
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and warehouse regulations.
• Conduct regular stock audits and inventory checks.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Prepare operational reports and performance metrics.
• Handle shipping and receiving documentation.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods.

Experience

• 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS/ERP).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift items when required.
• Comfortable working in warehouse environments.
