Farmio is a B2B food supply chain platform providing reliable sourcing, warehousing, and distribution services to food businesses. The company manages high-velocity food SKUs and operates a hybrid model combining physical operations with technology-enabled supply chain optimisation.
Position Overview
The Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution and management of Farmio’s physical supply chain operations in Singapore. This includes warehouse operations, inventory management, inbound and outbound logistics, supplying planning and supply chain management.
The role ensures operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, service reliability, and cost efficiency, while supporting Farmio’s growth and scalability objectives. The position has direct accountability for warehouse performance, inventory integrity, logistics execution, supply chain management and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound processes.
Implement and supervise warehouse systems, ensuring efficient workflows and technology utilization.
Supervise warehouse assistants and staff, ensuring their tasks are carried out effectively.
Strive to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all warehouse operations.
Ensure quality control standards are met for all warehouse operations.
Ensure warehouse operations comply with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
Provide reports with KPI’s of the staff and inventory control at the warehouse.
2. Inventory Management & Quality Control
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
Perform regular quality control inspections on our goods—both upon import and through periodic sampling—to ensure product quality is maintained.
Monitor inventory ageing, expiry, shrinkage, damage, and discrepancies.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimise inventory losses and write-offs.
3. Supply Management & Control
Handle supply planning, forecast demand and place orders accordingly.
Oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain, resolving any issues related to deliveries or disruptions.
Ensure the supply chain remains smooth, stable, and sustainable.
4. Logistics & Distribution Management
Manage all daily inbound and outbound logistics operations and activities.
Oversee third-party drivers and logistics service providers, ensuring all deliveries meet our standards and operational needs.
Ensure deliveries are efficient, cost-effective, and meet customer expectations.
Coordinate closely with logistics providers and continuously seek out new providers to ensure we have competitive pricing and reliable service.
5. Assistant Management
Supervise and manage warehouse assistants, ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety practices, and optimal workforce allocation.
Conduct training on operational procedures, safety, and compliance standards.
6. Cost Control & Operational Efficiency
Monitor and control warehouse and logistics operating costs.
Track key operational metrics such as cost per order, labour productivity, and fulfilment efficiency.
Identify and resolve operational issues, monitor KPIs, and implement efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance and cost efficiency.
Support month-end inventory reconciliation and reporting in collaboration with the finance team.
7. Team & Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, procurement, finance, and technology teams.
Prepare and present regular operational reports and performance updates to management.
Key Performance Indicators
Supply planning and demand forecasting
Inventory accuracy and discrepancy results
Inventory quality control and rate of customer quality complaint
Inventory ageing, shrinkage, and write-off levels
Warehouse productivity and labour efficiency
Warehouse and logistics cost efficiency
On-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery performance
Qualifications & Experience
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, supply chain, or logistics operations
Proven hands-on experience managing warehouse operations and inventory control
Experience working with third-party logistics providers and transport vendors
Ability to analyse operational data and produce clear operational reports
Preferred
Experience in FMCG, food distribution, or perishable goods supply chains
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements in Singapore
Skills & Competencies

Working Conditions
Hybrid role on operations and management level with regular presence in the warehouse environment and in the office
May require flexibility in working hours to support operational and delivery requirements
