Job Summary

We arelooking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our warehouseteam. You will be responsible for handling inventory, picking and packingorders, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and ensuring accurate and timelydispatch of goods.

Inventory Handling & Storage

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods properly.
• Assist with regular stock takes and cycle counts.
• Ensure accurate labelling and stock arrangement foreasy retrieval.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.

Order Fulfilment

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to standard procedures.
• Verify accuracy of items against order sheets before dispatch.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods.

Warehouse Maintenance & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Follow safety guidelines and proper handling of equipment and materials.
• Report any damaged or faulty items promptly.

Other Duties:

• Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Update inventory records in the warehouse management system.

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred (but not mandatory).
• Physically fit to handle lifting, moving, and organizing stock.
• Basic understanding of inventory systems or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and time management.
• Reliability and Punctuality: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Forklift license/certification is an added advantage.
