As a Warehouse Assistant/Coordinator, the incumbent will ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products with the objective of operational and service excellence.

• To adhere to all contract/site SOP’s
• To work with any designated area of the operation as directed by site managers/supervisors
• Take delivery of inventory
• Check for damaged or missing items, quarantining any items that fail the quality check for escalation and resolution
• Store goods appropriately as directed by either the WMS or direct supervisors
• Pick, pack orders and load goods for dispatch
• Move Inventory around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck
• Maintain the WMS system accurately and timely for all inventory receipts, movements and dispatch
• Carry out Inventory / cycle counts as directed utilizing the WMS and documentations
• Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
• Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
• Work to 5S standards in order to ensure operational efficiency
• Able to commit Overtime if needed
• Perform assigned tasks to support the employer in meeting and complying with objectives and targets with regards to quality, health, safety, and environment and abide with all requirements as set out in the QHSE policy.

Requirements:

• Minimum Secondary 2 / GCE O Levels
• Minimum 1 year working experience in warehouse operations
• Possess Forklift license (Below 5 Tons)
• Able to operate reach track
• Effective team player
• Working location at 8 Jurong Pier and on 5.5 days (alternate Sat)
• Able to work and travel on both Crane Warehouses (51 Tuas view Link & 8 Jurong Pier) in cases of operational exigencies.
