Singapore | Front Office Leadership Role

Are you an experienced banker with a strong track record in syndicated lending and structured finance, looking to play a key role in building a growing regional platform?

Our client, a leading Asian financial institution, is expanding its Syndicated & Structured Finance franchise in Singapore and is seeking a senior banker to join the team.

This position will work closely with the Head of Syndicated & Structured Finance and play a key role in originating, structuring, and executing syndicated transactions across South and Southeast Asia.

The Opportunity

You will join a dynamic regional platform partnering with corporates, financial sponsors, and institutional clients to deliver tailored financing solutions across:

• Syndicated and club loans
• Structured and leveraged finance
• Project and infrastructure financing
• Asset-backed and acquisition financing
• Cross-border transactions across Asia

This is a front-office leadership role with strong visibility to senior management and an opportunity to help scale the bank’s structured lending franchise.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and execute syndicated and structured financing transactions across Asia
• Engage corporates, sponsors, and investment funds to deliver bespoke financing solutions
• Partner with internal coverage teams to identify cross-border opportunities
• Lead deal structuring, syndication strategy, and investor distribution
• Mentor and develop junior bankers across execution and credit analysis
• Contribute to the strategic expansion of the bank’s syndicated finance platform

Ideal Profile

• 15–20 years of experience in Syndicated Loans, Leveraged Finance, or Structured Finance
• Strong origination and execution track record across SEA, India, or Greater China
• Deep technical expertise in credit structuring, documentation, and syndication
• Established relationships with banks, funds, and institutional investors
• Commercial mindset with hands-on execution capability
• Proficiency in Mandarin and regional exposure are advantageous, as this role involves frequent communication with Chinese stakeholders.
