What does Traffic Coordinator do at WPP Production?
The Traffic Coordinator is the organizational backbone of our creative projects, responsible for navigating campaigns seamlessly from initial brief to final delivery. This role exists to create order from complexity, ensuring that information flows efficiently, resources are perfectly allocated, and deadlines are always met. You are the day-to-day driver of our work, guaranteeing the on-time and on-budget execution that our clients and creative teams depend on.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple creative projects, from briefing and scheduling through to final delivery and archiving.
- Develop and meticulously track project timelines, milestones, and budgets, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on schedule and within scope.
- Coordinate all studio trafficking, resource booking, and briefing to ensure creative teams have the clear, actionable information needed to execute work to the highest standard.
- Serve as the central point of communication between internal teams (Account Management, Studio, Transcreation) and external partners, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Utilize modern project management software and AI-driven tools to automate tasks, track project health, and provide real-time status updates to the wider team.
- Proactively identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks, escalating to senior team members when necessary to ensure project integrity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management within a creative agency, production house, or similar fast-paced environment.
- A deep understanding of print and digital production workflows.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A resilient and proactive problem-solver, with the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana) and an aptitude for learning new technologies, including AI-powered workflow tools.
