Securities Settlement Analyst – Asia/Japan Operations

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated professional to join my client's Securities Settlement team in Singapore, supporting Asia and Japan trading desks. This role offers the opportunity to apply communication and problem-solving skills while developing expertise in securities products and post-trade operations.

Your Impact
As part of our dynamic Operations division, you will play a critical role in risk management and control, ensuring smooth trade settlements and safeguarding the firm’s reputation. You will collaborate with trading desks, internal teams, and market participants to mitigate settlement risks and enable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate settlement of securities transactions.
• Maintain strong operational controls to mitigate risks.
• Liaise daily with agent banks, brokers, and counterparties during Japan market hours.
• Perform pre-matching, fail trade management, and break resolution within strict cut-offs.
• Prepare reports and support inventory availability for successful cash and securities exchanges.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic, communicative, and team-oriented individual with strong client service skills and a focus on risk control. The ideal candidate has:

• 1–2 years of experience in securities settlements or related finance roles.
• Knowledge of equities markets and settlement processes.
• Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
