You will report to the Testing Engineer and be part of the testing team. You are responsible to provide testing support at site for the testing and commissioning of escalators/elevators as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Starting up of elevators/escalators, adjusting, testing and commissioning, following to the checklist for the testing of elevators/escalators with Client at site.
• Preparation of the elevators and escalators for testing and commissioning that includes trouble-shooting, checking, oiling, greasing, mechanical adjustment, testing of safety devices and inspection in accordance with local code of practice.
• Need to understand and comply to local Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements as well as site requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Higher Nitec in Vertical Transportation/ Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• Relevant experience in conducting testing & commissioning for MRT elevator/escalator will be advantageous.
• Min. 2 years of work experience in testing and commissioning of elevators/escalators.
• Need to work night shift when required as part of testing process.
• Basic English Proficiency.
• Team player, adaptable and agile.
