Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Technical supervision of the set of vessels allocated ,always guided by the Company policies and Code of Ethics, for safe operation of the vessels and zero harm to environment, people and assets.

• Responsible for the Technical supervision of the set of vessels allocated ,always guided by the Company policies and Code of Ethics, for safe operation of the vessels and zero harm to environment, people and assets.
• Take active part in the Safety, Quality and Environmental Culture within the Company and vessels and Ensuring that the vessels always comply with Flag and International Maritime Regulations.
• Ensuring day to day activities - PMS, Defect reporting and close out, Critical spares, Risk assessment, Environment reporting, Voyage reporting, Ship certificates and Class Status, Lub oil and bunker analysis, are followed up closely; Ensuring prompt close out of defects noted in Class, Internal & External audits, PSC, Oil Major vetting.
• Ensuring compliance with company KPIs and Ensuring Technical inspections as SMS requirement. Additional may be necessary example for dry docking, damage repairs, upgradation.
• Ensuring Lub oils, stores, spares and servicing and repair requirements for the vessels are promptly and efficiently met, guided by the budget allocated for the various items.
• Ensuring Class Surveys are arranged on time and convenient location. Dry dock list should be kept updated at all times.
• As emergency team member for risk control on operation and maintenance activities, and may be backup for other colleagues as emergency arrangement

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 Years Ship Management on tankers operation or Minimum 5 years ship management experiences as equivalent experiences or Minimum 3 years Management Level as COC 1 or Minimum 5 years Management level if COC 2
• Minimum 3 Years Technical Superintendent experience for Tanker Vessels
• Graduate and/or advanced diploma and/or above academic grade in Technical related subjects as equivalent qualification
• Good Communication, Analytical and Team Player
