Job Summary

Lead and manage the Trade Finance function to support the company’s import/export, working capital, and structured trade transactions. Responsible for structuring, executing, and monitoring LCs, BGs, SBLCs, receivables financing, supply chain finance, and bank negotiations, while ensuring compliance with UCP 600, ISBP, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Trade Finance team to deliver effective support for import/export and structured trade transactions
• Structure, execute, and monitor Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), receivables financing, and supply chain finance to optimize working capital
• Negotiate with banks to secure favorable trade finance terms and conditions
• Ensure all trade finance activities comply with UCP 600, ISBP, and relevant regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with Traders, Shipping & Chartering, and Accounts teams to streamline trade finance processes
• Communicate trade finance strategies and updates clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing trade finance operations and teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and external parties

Other Information

WORKING DAYS

• 5 days work week; Mondays - Fridays

COMPENSATION

• S$9,000-S$10,000 (open for negotiations)
