Job Role & Responsibilities:

• The Teaching Aide/Allied infant educarer is responsive to the needs of young children. He/she creates a secure environment for young children through nurturing respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationships with them.
• The Teaching Aide/Allied infant educarer is intentional in building trusting and respectful partnerships with parents and families.
• He/she actively engages in centre initiatives and supports its collaborative efforts with the community.
• He/she also works closely with colleagues and contributes to a culture of collaboration and collegiality.
• As an early childhood educarer, the Teaching Aide/Allied infant educarer engages in continuous learning and reflective practice.

Job Requirements

• At least Secondary 2 education or 8 years of formal education and attained an average level of 4 under the Statement of Attainment (SOA) in Employability Skills (ES) WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPL) series
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with sound working knowledge of MS Office
• Passionate to work with children and make a difference to children’s learning
