Job Description

• Manage and oversee all aspects of tax matters including GST, corporate tax filings and tax planning for EU and US markets
• Provide strategic advice on tax planning to optimise the organisation's tax position.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and manage relationships with relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address tax-related queries and provide guidance.
• Identify and mitigate potential tax risks while ensuring adherence to global tax policies.
• Support tax audits and manage documentation to meet statutory requirements.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience
• Open to candidates from Big 4 and/or commercial backgrounds with regional, hybrid scope exposure
• Demonstrate strong technical application of tax principles
• Effective business partnering skills with external tax agents
• Strong communication and written skills to liaise with Shanghai HQ stakeholders
