• Position: Tape-Out Engineer (Si Photonics / Foundry / PDK)
• Location: Few bus stops from Clementi MRT
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday (Office Hours)
• Salary: Up to $11,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus + Medical
• Industry: Semiconductor / Photonics / Foundry

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise end-to-end tapeout process from customer engagement to final jobview release
• Act as key point of contact to resolve design-related queries with internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee DRC review, waiver approvals, GDS preparation and floorplanning
• Coordinate tapeout logistics with foundry technical teams and engineering stakeholders
• Manage jobview and MEBES approval / release for successful tapeout
• Verify component performance against design specifications and targets
• Support Si photonics design and PDK enhancement for Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
• Collaborate with EPDA vendors such as Cadence, Siemens (Mentor), Ansys Lumerical, Luceda
• Maintain and upgrade PDK libraries to improve design competitiveness
• Contribute to technology roadmap and design enablement initiatives

Requirements

• Degree / Master / PhD in Microelectronics, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Physics or Material Science
• Relevant experience in tapeout operations, design enablement or foundry environment
• Familiar with DRC, GDS, jobview, MEBES and floorplanning workflows
• Exposure to PDK development and EPDA tools (e.g. Cadence, Mentor, Lumerical)
• Knowledge in Si Photonics is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders across functions
