About the Division/Dept
The Human Resources Division drives and delivers the human capital strategy to support the organisation’s strategic thrusts and goals, and at the same time achieve HR excellence and employee satisfaction.

Job Purpose
This is a Talent Acquisition focused role reporting directly to the Head of HR. The incumbent will lead and execute active sourcing and end-to-end recruitment activities, which supports the organization’s transformation and growth ambitions.

Role & Responsibilities:
The incumbent will support the Head of HR as the primary point of contact for talent acquisition activities, including but not limited to the following:

1. Active Sourcing of Talents

  • Actively source for candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn (direct outreach), job portals, referrals, online communities, professional groups, and other niche platforms.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct targeted searches, talent mapping, and market scans to identify suitable profiles for critical and strategic roles.
  • Engage potential candidates proactively to assess interest, suitability, and cultural fit.
  • Track sourcing outcomes and adjust sourcing strategies to ensure consistent candidate flow and faster hiring turnaround.

2. Talent Acquisition & Strategic Hiring

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify and understand manpower requirements, hiring priorities, and success profiles; translating these into job descriptions and evalution criteria for open roles.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to support critical and time-sensitive hiring needs.
  • Screen and shortlist candidates, manage interview coordination, and attend interviews where required.
  • Drive efficient recruitment lifecycle and provide timely updates and reports to the Head of HR.
  • Work with the HR Generalist to ensure seamless onboarding for new hires.
  • Be up to date with recruitment best practices and market talent trends.

3. Vendor Management

  • Partner with existing external recruitment agencies for identified roles.
  • Regularly review relationships of recruitment agencies to ensure fit for purpose.

4. Employer Branding

  • Partner with HODs and hiring managers to craft compelling job postings aligned to the organizational employee value proposition.
  • Manage candidate communications and ensure positive candidate experience.
  • Support recruitment marketing or employer branding initiatives as required.

5. Data Reporting and Insights

  • Generate recruitment dashboards and hiring analytics, converting data into reportable critical talent acquisition insights and commentaries.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records, in a timely manner.
  • Participate in HR projects related to talent acquisition, workforce planning, or talent pipelines.

6. Other Responsibilities

  • Undertake any other assignments or projects, as assigned to contribute to the corporate objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in HRM or equivalent professional HR qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, with proven capabilities in active talent sourcing.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries will be an advantage.
