Responsibilities

As a System/ Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

• System And Network,
• Able to configure CISCO, Fortinet, Juniper, Firewall & Antivirus, and other security software.
• Experience with CISCO core switches, Access Points (Wireless) such as Aironet / Meraki / HP Aruba is a plus.
• Familiarize with CISCO Network LAN & WAN design.
• Pre-sales to Point to Point and Client VPN.
• Setup and perform troubleshooting with network technical skills, including CISCO Routers, CISCO Switches, wireless devices, Fortinet Firewalls, Load Balancers, and system management tools like Network Analysis.
• Install WINDOWS Server O/S, WIN 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Platform for Servers, and PCs with hands-on experience in setup and configuration.
• Knowledge of setup/configure VMWare, Exchange Server, SQL, and Virtual Server, along with hardware configuration experience (Server, external backup, UPS) in FAS System, HPE Storage, Synology NAL, etc.

Job Description

• Rack/stack IT Equipment.
• Installation/configuration of various OS (Windows, Linux, Vmware).
• Work closely with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones.
• Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.
• Assist in day-to-day operation of the System Delivery team.
• Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.
• Design and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Configure and Network security appliances such as firewalls, routers, and switches.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Able to configure/design and provide consultation for Cisco Switches, Router and Fortigate Firewall
• 3 – 10 years of relevant experience in server implementation / operation / administration for Vmware / Storage / Redhat / Windows.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess initiative with positive working attitudes
• Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work after office hours/weekend for systems preventive maintenance
