The client of ours is a Global Conglomerate with presence across 
America, Europe and Asia Pacific. They are currently expanding their 
operations in APAC and is looking for an experienced Supplier Manager, APAC. This role is responsible for owning and growing strategic 
supplier relationships across APAC, driving mutual value through joint 
business planning, performance management, and commercial 
execution.

You will manage a portfolio of strategic suppliers, supporting growth 
across key domains including Data Centre & Cloud Infrastructure, 
Networking & Enterprise Infrastructure, Telecommunications, 
Physical Security & Electrical & Power Distribution while partnering 
closely with sales, marketing, inventory, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and grow strategic supplier relationships and joint business plans.
• Track targets, monitor supplier performance, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Lead governance routines including executive reviews and 
  planning sessions
• Drive commercial growth initiatives, including supplier-led training for sales teams and customers.
• Identify portfolio gaps and new supplier opportunities to 
  strengthen competitiveness.
• Act as a key escalation point, resolving supplier and sales 
  execution challenges.
• Provide structured updates with clear actions, timelines, and follow-through.
• Lead and support administrative resources effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other relevant degree
• Strong business acumen with an inquisitive, proactive mindset.
• Ability to operate independently, ask the right questions, and challenge when needed.
• Proven experience in supplier/vendor or account management within distribution, services, or supply chain environments.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Experience in distribution / services / supply chain environments, with exposure to supplier management and contract negotiations is preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
