Safety Coordinator / Safety Supervisor (Semiconductor Industry)

Work Location: Tampines (VSMC Project Site)

Job Responsibilities

• Assess construction site hazards and identify potential risks to maintain a comprehensive workplace safety programme.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

• Monitor and enforce safety procedures, safe work practices, and permit-to-work requirements.

• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.

• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records.

• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and clients on all safety-related matters.

• Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail when handling sensitive project information.

• Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to coordinate with the Main HQ in Taiwan and manage project documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in VSMC Vacuum Hook-Up projects.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

• Able to read and prepare technical and safety-related documentation.

• Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and site safety requirements.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.

• Possession of relevant WSH certifications will be an added advantage.
