Job Description

Oversee daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and organization of all areas.
Assign duties and inspect completed work for quality and adherence to standards.
Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.
Provide guidance, feedback, and support to team members for continuous improvement.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Ensure that cleaning, hygiene, and appearance standards are consistently maintained.
Prepare daily and weekly work schedules for housekeeping staff.
Coordinate with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to prioritize tasks and handle special requests.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
Request stock replenishments and ensure proper storage and usage of supplies.
Ensure all housekeeping staff follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
Report and address any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Respond to and resolve guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain records such as cleaning checklists, staff attendance, and inspection reports.
Submit performance feedback and assist in employee evaluations.
