Job Description

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Developmental Discipline Co-ordinator - Assist HODStudent

Management (SM) and Level Discipline Masters to

(a) Provide supervision and structured support for studentsserving

detention/suspension from Mondays to Fridays, after schooltill

4.30 pm (Fridays would be till 4 pm);

(b) Implement, monitor and supervise detentions andsuspensions;

maintaining consistency in process and following upprocedures;

(c) Follow-up with defaulters;

(d) Upkeep, maintain and compile detention records and data;

(e) Revert to Form Teachers (FTs) on detention/suspension

attendance;

(f) Reinforcing appropriate behaviour, accountability and

reintegration into school routines

2. Maintain smooth operations of the Discipline Room –Assist HOD

(SM) & Operation Manager (OM) to

(a) Support the management of late-comers in the morning

(b) Maintain and upkeep the operations and data records at

Discipline Room (include handphone confiscation, updatelate-

coming and attendance records into school data management

system, etc.)

(c) Attend to students’ drop in at Discipline Room duringand after

school hours and liaise to update teachers/ Year Heads (YH)/

Heads of Department (HOD) / School Leaders (SL) when

needed

3. Case Management and follow-up

(a) Collaborate with Student Management Team to monitor the

development of students sent for disciplinary measures.

(b) Refer and update Level Discipline masters on potentialissues

related to pupils and school discipline, based oninformation &

personal observation.

(c) Conduct follow-up actions with students offenders after

investigations conclude such as monitoring and supervisingthe

completion of assignments, on in-house suspension,afterschool

detention, etc.

(d) Daily sign-in/out for students on movement monitoring

4. Promote Developmental Discipline Practices

(a) Work together with HOD (SM) to design and implement

meaningful learning tasks or interventions aimed atbehavioral

growth and character development

(b) Working alongside teachers to support challengingstudents, as

well as encourage restorative and relationship-basedpractices

(c) Active monitoring of non-structured school hours wherestudent

masses gather such as recess and after school to prevent

disruptive behaviours.

(d) Collaborate with Student Management team in harnessing

disciplinary/late-coming data to strengthen preventive and

proactive interventions

5. Other duties

(a) Collaborate with relevant HOD/Key Personnel in-charge ofSchool

and National examinations, to provide support during the

examination period, by:-

a. patrolling to ensure conducive environment and school

tone

b. perform escort duties

c. managing students at waiting area during oral examination

(b) Assist in monitoring students identified for ExtendedSchool Term

Self-study/Suspension programme during term breaks

(c) SM Data and Records Management during Term Break, Exam

Period

·Upkeep and compile records of routine/daily non-

compliances, petty offences, such as attire and grooming,

late-coming, misuse of handphones.

·Filing of SM records for student profiling.
