Job Summary

The SSHEQ Leader develops and maintains safety, security, health, environmental, and quality systems aligned with company and regulatory standards. This role drives SSHEQ integration to support operations and aims to achieve zero incidents and full compliance.

Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure SSHEQ standards are achieved and maintained.
2. Identify opportunities for improvementand drive SSHEQ enhancement initiatives.
3. Work closely with regulatory authoritiessuch as SCDF, MOM, and MPA to ensure full compliance for terminal operations.
4. Chair and lead Safety Committee meetings, including KPI reviews and root cause investigations.
5. Collaborate with management to developSSHEQ strategies, policies, and programs.
6. Define and monitor SSHEQ KPIs to trackoperational safety and performance.
7. Develop and implement a SecurityManagement System together with security contractors.
8. Ensure compliance with all local andnational safety, health, and environmental regulations.
9. Develop SSHEQ management systems,policies, and budgets, and oversee their execution.
10. Monitor and ensure completion of staffSSHEQ training programs.
11. Manage PPE usage to ensure a safe andhealthy working environment.
12. Ensure all safety-related equipment istested, maintained, and compliant with regulations.
13. Lead investigations and responseefforts for safety or environmental incidents.
14. Act as the lead for ISO certificationpreparation and audits.
15. Oversee SSHEQ requirements for siteexpansion projects.
16. Communicate SSHEQ requirements clearlyto all personnel on site.
17. Conduct site inspections and enforcecompliance among staff, contractors, and maintenance teams.
18. Organize and conduct fire drills.
19. Perform regular SSHEQ inspections and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions.
