Sports Executive (Botanic Gardens)

Salary: $2,800 – $3,200 per month
Contract Duration: 20 months
Start Date: Immediate

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Sports Management, Sports Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in sports event management or a similar role.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
• Familiarity with AI tools is an an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sports Education (SE) Unit on the planning and administration of key sports events and activities.
• Coordinate with SE Unit workstreams and officers to organise and manage events.
• Manage the administration of recognition programmes.
• Coordinate venue bookings for schools and approved external organisations.
• Work with media partners to coordinate live streams, student-athlete interviews, and media features.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for programmes and related events.
• Assist with the administration of grants provided by external stakeholders and partners.
• Support procurement and payment processing.
• Attend and record minutes during bi-weekly unit meetings and other relevant meetings.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Deputy Director or Senior Assistant Director.
