Job Overview

We are looking for a Sports Broadcast Cameraman / Livestream Operator to support live sports productions, including basketball tournaments and events. The role involves camera setup, live streaming, and real-time production support for multi-camera sports broadcasts.

This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced live environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and pack down video cameras for sports events

• Operate cameras during live sports broadcasts (fixed angle, follow cam, handheld where required)

• Support live streaming production for sports matches and events

• Operate and assist with OBS and/or vMix during live productions

• Monitor video feeds, audio sync, and stream quality during live sessions

• Assist with basic troubleshooting of cameras, capture cards, encoders, and streaming equipment

• Work closely with producers, directors, and technical crew to ensure smooth live broadcasts

• Ensure all equipment is handled properly and safely during events
  

  Requirements

  • Experience in sports broadcasting, livestreaming, or video production

  • Comfortable operating DSLR / mirrorless / broadcast cameras

  • Able to operate OBS and/or vMix (vMix experience is a strong plus)

  • Strong technical understanding of live streaming workflows (cameras, HDMI/SDI, encoders)

  • Tech-savvy and able to troubleshoot basic technical issues independently

  • Comfortable working on weekends and event days

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work under live-event pressure
    

    Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

    • Experience in basketball or sports livestreams

    • Knowledge of audio setup (basic mic and mixer handling)

    • Experience with multi-camera switching

    • Familiarity with streaming to YouTube, Facebook Live, or custom platforms
