Position Overview

The Spa Receptionist is responsible for giving guests a positive impression of the spa from the point of reservation to the moment they arrive and depart. The individual has a vast understanding of the services and products offered, answers emails and calls, assists guests with their enquiries bookings and escort the guest to the lockers/facilities when necessary. The individual checks guests in and out of the spa in a professional manner, and ensures all guests leave satisfied.

The Role
Reception Operations

o  Maintain high levels of service standards throughout the spa

o  Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, andfacilities

o  Provide spa tours and escort guests to treatment areas

o  Promote spa services and products

o  Address guest complaints with empathy and courtesy, always finding aresolution to ensure complete guest satisfaction

o  Handle correspondences and phone calls

o  Answer to enquiries and requests

o  Perform opening and closing duties

o  Manage guest register

o  Process payments accurately

o  Assist with booking, changing and cancelling of spa appointments

o  Keep the reception area clean and organised at all times

o  Ensure a conducive environment at the holding area as guests wait for their turn

o   Provide assistance with any tasks related to the spa as needed during its operation.

Talent Profile
o   Minimum Diploma qualification in Spa and Wellness

o   1 to 2 years of experience in luxury spa or similar field

o   Knowledge of Spa industry
